Ventral and dorsal view of the brainstem highlighting cranial nerves (Diagrams only)

Hey guys! I haven't uploaded my hand drawn notes in a loong time.. So here you go -

Dorsal view of the brain stem and cranial nerves
Diagram correction: In the dorsal view, the vestibulococchlear nerve seems to be overly highlighted. The eighth nerve enters the brain stem at the junction of the pons and medulla lateral to the facial nerve but I drew it relatively medial. My bad. I colored it by then and couldn't erase it T_T

  1. Another nice fact. Mixed nerves arise from the centre. Sensory or motpr nerves don't!
