Fact of the day: Factors that are lost in stored blood

Hello awesomites !
What happens to blood that is stored in blood bank ?
Factor 5 decreases by 50% in 14 days .
Factor 8 decreases by 50% in 24 hours and decreases further to 6% after 21 days.
