What does stigmata mean?
Stigmata means some lesion, mostly skin, which is visible, showing the patient is suffering from that particular disease.
In some diseases, like leprosy and tuberculosis, the patient may not want to reveal the condition because of the stigmata associated with the disease in society. But due to certain signs, the disease gets revealed. (These diseases were considered a disgrace in earlier days.)

A useful article but only for the people who understand the stigmas. I think it should be toned down to any easier version so everyone can understand it.
ReplyDeleteYes, I am suffering from stigmata. Automatically blood coming from the palm and my fingertips. It doesnt happen all the time, just every once in a while or i can say 2 -3 days in a month. It doesnt cover my whole hand and sometimes it doesnt even get on both hand.
ReplyDeletePlease can anyone help me to cure this? I have done all the blood test but every thing was normal..
