Enzymes requiring thiamine mnemonic

Can you enlist the enzymes requiring thiamine?

If you can, give yourself a pat on the back and don't read further.

If you can't, give yourself a pat on the back, because you are going to learn how to remember it! :D

Mnemonic: Thiamine PATs on BaCK!

Pyruvate dehydrogenase complex (PDHc)
(Alpha) α-ketoglutarate dehydrogenase (AKG)
Transketolase
Branched-chain ketoacid dehydrogenase (BCKD)

PDH and AKG dehydrogenase are enzymes associated with the Krebs (TCA) cycle.
BCKD is required for metabolism of the branched-chain amino acids.
Transketolase catalyzes reactions of the pentose phosphate pathway.

That's all!
