Features of DNA replication: Semiconservative replication

Hello everyone!

Here is a feature of DNA replication that we don't think much about - the semiconservative replication!

Semiconservative replication helps prevent mutations during DNA replication.

How? Half of the strand is correct and does not need correction. The DNA polymerase corrects any bases placed wrongly on the new strand during replication.
