Organisms covered by Azithromycin mnemonic

Hey!
Today, during rounds, I was asked which organisms does Azithromycin cover that ceftriaxone doesn't and I kinda blanked out :(

PS: They were talking in context to community acquired pneumonia (CAP) and so does this post.
So.. Mnemonic!

"MACRoLide"
M: Mycoplasma pneumoniae
A: (Atypical pneumonia)
C: Chlamydia pneumoniae
R: Raxella (Moraxella catarrhalis, you can remember it with the M too, I prefer R)
L: Legionella pneumophila
Bonus, MAC: Mycobacterium avium complex infections (PS: It's not a CAP)
The mnemonic works for newer macrolides like Azithromycin and Clarithromycin. Not necessarily for Erythromycin.

Don't forget, Azithromycin does cover erythromycin sensitive Streptococcus pneumoniae, Hemophilus influenzae but those can develop resistance and that's why we use ceftriaxone (which is covered by it and not included in the mnemonic)

That's all!
I think I'm improving my performance during rounds. I like this quote I read the other day, "Strive for progress."
It's exactly what I am doing.
