It's a huge dog. So, the platelets in Bernard Soulier are abnormally large
The dog will always remain loyal to the family, will adhere to it. So, the defect is in platelet adhesion.

another good mnemonic is that Bernard-Soulier has 1 B in it, so you know the defect is in Gp1B.
