Commonly called “Molly” or “ecstasy”.
MDMA can elicit feelings of euphoria, wakefulness, intimacy, and disinhibition.
Intoxication causes dangerous side effects such as:
Hypertension
Hyperthermia
Delirium
Psychomotor agitation
Hyponatremia
Intracranial hemorrhage
Myocardial infarction
Aortic dissection
Disseminated intravascular coagulation
Rhabdomyolysis
Seizures
Serotonin syndrome
