WHO is leading a health campaign on depression this year. The goal of the campaign is that more people with depression, everywhere in the world, both seek and get help.
I want us, as medical students and doctors, to talk about depression and mental illnesses this month.
It's the secret project for the month #LetsTalk
Talk about the time when the syllabus was overwhelming and you wished you'd rather die than give the exam the next day. Talk about the time you saw the patients you took care of die in a week. Talk about the time you had to work so much that you had no time to talk.
Talk about it. Tell us how you survived it. We are proud of you and we want you to help others.
Talk about your patient (without revealing the identity) who was depressed. Talk about how you identified it. Talk about what caused it. Talk about how you helped and made a difference.
If you want to participate for the secret project of the month and talk about mental illnesses, email us your entries at firstname.lastname@example.org
You can choose to reveal your real name, choose a pet name or stay anonymous.
