Pam
Diazepam rectal 0.2 mg/kg
Or lorazepam 0.1 mg/kg at 2 mg/min
Diazepam rectal 0.2 mg/kg
Or lorazepam 0.1 mg/kg at 2 mg/min
Pheny
Phenytoin 20 mg/kg at 50 mg/min
Or fosphenytoin 20 mg/kg at 150 mg/min
Phenytoin 20 mg/kg at 50 mg/min
Or fosphenytoin 20 mg/kg at 150 mg/min
Barbie
Phenobarbital 20 mg/kg at 50 mg/min
Phenobarbital 20 mg/kg at 50 mg/min
For the doses:
Remember 0.2 mg/kg Diazepam at 1 mg/min.
Switch numbers if you are using Lorazepam, that is, 0.1 mg/kg at 2 mg/min.
Switch numbers if you are using Lorazepam, that is, 0.1 mg/kg at 2 mg/min.
Then 2 becomes 20 for Phenytoin. The rate is 50 mg/min.
Fosphenytoin at thrice the rate.
And it is the same as Phenytoin for Phenobarbital.
That's all.
I hope it helped ya'll.
