Rough transcript (not word to word): Philosophy of Medicowesome.
00:34 I know I can't help people with money, like physically, you know? I'm not rich. I can't be physically there for a lot of people.
I think the only way I can help people is with my knowledge, by giving them proper guidance, by giving my honest advice, with my experience, with whatever I've learnt.
I feel like if I can help one person. Just one person. It is all worth it, all the hard work.
I don't feel competitive, I don't feel like people are going to get ahead of me if they read my notes or know my mnemonics. I don't feel jealous. It's hard but if you have this mindset, where you feel the need to help people as best as you can, it's impossible to be envious. It's your responsibility to make sure people go ahead of you and do more than you did. You need to pass it on.
Knowledge is power and you should use it wisely. Give wisdom to the world. Give something more. Be kind. This is why I write my blogs, this is why I create videos, and this is why I try to reply to most of the emails that are sent to me, at least the first one, I try to reply as if it's my... As if it's someone close to me who is writing to me.
This is why I always encourage students to give seminars, lectures. If you know something, teach people. Inspire people. If you don't have resources to do a seminar, just write it down and send it to a blog, send it to Medicowesome, we'll publish it.
Remember: Your experiences are unique. It needs to be out there. The world will be a better place because of your contribution.
If it helps one person, just one person, it's worth it.
