Suprasphincteric
Intersphincteric
Transphincteric
Extrasphincteric

Standard classification mnemonic:
"Standard sub level PR"
Submucosal fistula
Subcutaneous fistula
Low level fistula
High level fistula
Pelvi-rectal fistula

Treatment of anal fistula mnemonic
F: Fistulectomy, Fistulotomy
I: Intersphincteric fistula tract ligation (LIFT)
S: Seton technique
T: Thrombin and human fibrinogen glue (Gluing of fistula)
U: Video assisted anal fistula tract ligation
L: Ligation of Intersphincteric fistula tract (LIFT, repeated in the mnemonic)
A: Anal fistula plug repair
