I spent a lot of time thinking over the name and the logo of the blog, before I even started!
It had to be related to the medical field with a tinge of young enthusiasm. It is a student's blog after all! After a lot of pondering and questioning, the eureka moment happened. Which word makes us awe in amazement? Awesome! Medicowesome!
We, as students, spend a lot of time with paper and pencils. I pictured the pencil to be there. I wanted to add biology to it - Our grass roots in becoming medical students.
The human brain controls everything - from comprehension to executing commands like reading and writing - through which we become creative geniuses. It's my favorite part of the human body. It's very complex, mysterious, unpredictable. Beyond our understanding.
That is the reason I represented the brain with it's functional unit - the neuron. I replaced the axon by a pencil. The purple ring was the O which connected the words, "Medico" and "Owesome" (Awesome).
We decided to change our logo this year, a more professional one this time. But the idea is still the same. We hope you love it as much as I do :)
"Times change, and so must I... we all change. When you think about it, we are all different people, all through our lives and that's okay, that's good! You've gotta keep moving, so long as you remember all the people that you used to be." -The 11th Doctor
That's all!

If you have a good idea, do it. You don't need to be perfect. |
